I got these tires and when i first opened them i thought wow sticky compound and yes it was verry tacky to start with. i ran them with the stock foams for about 4-5 runs and i was displeased with how hard they where. so i took them off my wheels and took 1/4 pipe and put holes around the side wall of the foam and added about 2 ounces to each wheel (im not a big fan of using tons weight). i was still a little unsatisfied after i ran them like that for a bit so i also siped the solid lugs around the edge of the tire and took them to a local comp. the siping has much improved the side hilling and some more for the forward bite. i am now very pleased with the tire and they where almost on par with the panthers (in my experience). the only complaint i have now is that these tires are the white compound insted of blue and compared to my rock claws they wear much faster, but are still better than the claws and the more i drive them the better they get!

they will definitely get better the more they wear. I really like my carvers once they're a few weeks old and the edges are nice and round
