Losi's new vehicle to be announced 09.03.09

Anyone have good info on the upcoming Losi vehicle?

As far as I have surmised, it's called the Night Crawler, and has something to do with the number 8.

I figured it's Losi's answer to the SCX10, and it has 8 LEDs.

There have been a few hints slipped through the losi.com site, and their forum has a little info on it.

There was for a short time this picture:

But it's gone now. The image filename gives away the name and that it's a crawler of some sort.

What do you guys think?

If you look at the filename, its:

Bdg - just a prefix, most images on the homepage have this part
Knt - Knight
Rdr - Rider
Tsr - Teaser

So, I think they are trying to throw some people off with the Knight Rider Name...

There was also a list of vehicles and "1/10 Night Crawler RTR" was among them.

So, I'm 95% sure it's a 1/10 Scale Crawler to compete with the SCX10 and has 8 LED's (Where the 8 from the clue comes from.)

Wonder what axles they are tossing under it? something new, or borrowed from another truck, or ??

I can see Summit type deal but am guessing no.

I am hoping it is a scaler in competition to the SCX-10 though. That picture looks weird, is that a picture of a freaking Fish tank?

I's put my money on it being a scaler! They wouldn't do a super, not enough $ in it. I don't think they would do something like a Summit. They have done the mini, 1/10 comp, so it's time for a scaler! 4 roof lights, 2 headlights, 2 tail lights.
