lowering traxxas k10

so i'm building a k10 pickup that im hoping is going to sit quite low, im looking at 4.3 proline interco super swampers or a class 1 tire. i'm thinking 80mm shocks would be best but what is the best brand that i can get in the uk or if i shorten the gts shocks what spring rate would be best for the k10 with basically no additioanlly sprung weight (im thinking 0.39 rate orange springs front and rear)

80mm would be too short. Just pick up a set of Traxxas GTX shocks which are the stock shock for most of the TRX4 line and measure 90mm.

i also read that you need the regular - Servo mount, steering/ chassis crossmember (8239)

Find someone who is looking for a lift kit and do a trade... stock parts for stock parts. Probably the easiest way to go about it.

Not sure if you are going for more scale look while trying to keep the clearance or not but I would love to see one of these with the lifted suspension left on it but delete the portals for more scale look while lowering it.
