Hi, I was just wanting to know if the stock plastic main gears would hold up to a set of jumbo kongs (narrowed)? I am running stock cans with 11 tooth pinion up front and a 10 tooth in the rear. I am going to get lathe motor also. How many of you crawlers are running the plastic main gears in your clods? Thank you all for your time. TOYMAKER.

im all plastic. i wouldnt be as worried about the gears as i would be the diff. they get chewed out over time, and with kongs i bet the plastic would get stripped quick. i think rc4wd sells aluminum diff lockers that would solve that.
