I know it's toy grade, but i found it very cool that even Maisto is interested in rc crawling8)

It's only $43.00 also"thumbsup"

It really is four wheel drive too! Those tires look grippy aswell. That may be fun for the little kids to take on a trail or something. Nice find!!

I would skip that and buy my kid a real crawler. After seeing/driving mine, that one would sorely disappoint him. Nice try maisto but no cigar.

My thoughts exactly, for only $43.00 almost any child can be exposed to rc crawling.

I agree, but if you are a parent that is not into crawling i hardly believe you would shell out $200-300 for a kid's "toy".

Hmmm, they've ripped of the tires on the Traxxas Summit for this one................................
Maybe, but my point was that rc crawling is getting so huge that even Maisto feels the need to not be left out of it.

I saw that thing at Wal-Marts the other day, it made me laugh!

Just bought one. I would say Its not as great as the Nylint was, but it was at target for 29.99 + tax so around 32 in CA. It was almost able to go up my curb stock. Great thing about this one vs the Nylint its already got a flat bottom. Tires could use some cutting down the middle with a Razor. The gearing could be lower but the diffs are locked. From the looks of it so far you can put a hobby grade steering servo. Mine takes 6 AA batteries. I saw on a different site where the guy said he got a Rechargeable battery. I dont know if thats the one from ebay or not. If you want a cheap crawler similar to the Nylint that will get your Crawling fix till you get more money get this one. If you want a hobby grade get the Team Losi Mini Crawler. For 50 bucks more.

Thats my 2 cents take it or leave it.

Had a HPI Crawler, Nylint, and Radioshack (Zipzap Monster Truck) ZZMT Custom Crawler

Hmmm, two 30 packs of beers, or that thing...

That is a toughy...

:afro: says buy the beers!

"The Dude abides!"

This thing actully looks like it could have some potential. If nothing else, get it for kids to practice crawling things before you get them a real hobby grade crawler. The flex dosent look too bad either

It does indeed have potential if you want to go at it. Picked one up the other day and have so far stripped it of its stock board, added a cheap Acme reciever thats fully proportional, an electrifly ESC (its meant for a plane so it only has forward that is fully proportional) works though "thumbsup", added a hobby grade servo thats super glued to the front axle  with a home made tie rod that works great. And to to help its massive amount of clod stall ive added a re-chargeable 7.4V 800mah pack that wires in piggyback with the AA's for some extra kick. soooooo yeah  lol anyone know how to add picks?
