Thinking of buying a new esc and wondering wich of these two would be the best way to go.

Mtroniks - waterproof
Mamba - lots of configuration options

I personally would go for the MMP because of the adjustability, and the proven track record that castle has.

Never used Mtroniks myself, but i know a friend that used one in his stadium truck and he wasnt happy with it.

If you are looking for adjustability as well as waterproof, look at the Holmes Hobbies BRXL. Its brushed only. no motor limit and you can run up to 6s lipo.

In Europe, Mtroniks may be the better bet for support. In the US I would definitely stay Castle. I have never used mtroniks myself but know people who have and liked them. They have just never really been a big seller in the US so most here have no experience with them.

I had a Mtroniks Viper 40 marine esc in my trail truck for a while and was really pleased with it. Didn't have much of a drag brake, but $40 for a waterproofed esc..... They are both great products in my opinion. But check into the aftermarket support of both of em in yer area. Or go with a HH BRXL, waterproof & lots of configurations for about the same price as the Mamba.

Agree on the service part, but would rather buy a superb combo from abroad than a decent one from my neighbour.
Been looking at this: Castle Creations | Mamba Max Pro SCT

And with the reputation CC has plus the NEU-CASTLE motor im kinda in a daze with what to do.

Use my Novak Ballistic motor with Mtroniks ESC or new combo.
I dont mind the cost. Just want somtn that works like a charm out of the box wit minimal hazzle!
Dont have too good experience with mixing ESC and motor from different producers...
