Dont worry about these guys Dave. Build her right & drive her hard. I think SOME just might be feeling threatened by your revival of sorts.

Looking forward to you getting her thru some gates brutha.

At this rate, he will have to push it by hand and make motor noises with his mouth, to get it thru some gates before snow flies! :D:D:D

Troy is still a little butt hurt from the early comps this season, gave him a beatdown with a 3 1/2 year old OG comp rig!

Lmao!!! From when I ran a creeper in the pro class! Haha..

You did win palmerton.. didn't you fall down before that comp an hurt urself?

Ouch! Lmao.. one spot in pro.. but you were way behind in 2.2s an 1.9! Since this is a 2.2s thread.. let's keep to the class at hand.. :D

All this time posting, I hope ur building as well!

Dave was swamped hooking me up with tons of work today! New shaftsmen build, 2 paint jobs and he's always there for great advise and good conversation. Thanks again Marzzz. Look forward to making the daringer (?) lid look appropriate. ( no offense Brian, not much of a speller).

Okay I actually had some time today and blew the dust off the build.:flipoff:.
Well its a start, no elec, upper links, etc. My question is what are you guys doing for shocks. Below are stock scx10s with mini springs...suggestions?

i have Ti links also from Chaotic just didnt get a chance yet. I need 2 more cross members, to go behind them. Travis gave me some ideas on limiting the shocks internally, just have to figure out whats best to do that. I was telling him I used to use fuel
tubing back in the day.....wondering what the trend was these days?

Lookin good Marsh! Im excited for you man. Yer gonna dig this chassis me thinks & Im really looking forward to seeing you take her to new heights.

As far as the shocks; I know some guys have limited em internally while others actually cut em down...both body & shaft to get that ride height a little lower. Im pretty sure that Matt updated his build thread with his shock mods so maybe you can grab actual lengths from him.

Im bummed you cant make Nats but Im looking forward to seeing how she stacks up against the local talent in yer barrio.
