I would like to know if a Traxxas 5000mah 3s battery will fit the stock bomber battery tray? Dimensions of the battery are 135mm x 28.5mm x 44mm. What are the max battery dimensions for the bomber?

I think I have that battery, I can try it out in my bomber in a few hours when I get off work if no one else gets to it before then

If this is the battery you're asking about, then no, it doesn't fit. Just a bit too long....

Venom lists batteries specifically for the RR10 bomber. They are all 138 x 46 x 24 mm / 5.43 x 1.81 x 0.94 in. This is what I run in mine, and its a tight fit. https://www.venompower.com/search?type=product&q=bomber

The Bomber tray is adjustable for width, but not length or height. You can go slightly wider, but not much.

Id like to know how they get them to fit, I have a venom and measured and thought I was good to go. Unless they are Houdini with the wiring, the battery box itself will fit, but I can't get the cage or hood to close.

Mine fit just fine.

can you take a picture how you route your wiring, cause it has me baffled, Ive tried every configuration I can try.
My wiring isn't stock so, not going to help much. My battery cable faces downwards and connects inside the cage area. It's zip tied to the front windshield area pillar.

After removing one bolt from the interior, I was able to move the wiring back under it and my venom hardpack just barely fits. One side of the hood rises a little more than the other, but it'll do.
