nothing yet! ive lock tighted the screws and check them frequently and no problems yet. building second set now 2 inches narrower, 4 new truck with lower center of gravity, less electronics and tube chassis.

Looks great, but I think you'll hate the location of those lower link mounts. They look like rock-grabbers to me.

axles

they do drag, but its all in placement of tires in crawling. the new set im making will have the links off the back side of axle tube though.

very nice, did you get any warpage in the diff case welding the tubes on ?

"Looks real good"

Those look pretty tough. Have any ideas for 1/6 scale electric Nylint Axels? Pm if you got any ideas, these things are just to big!!!!!

Thery look good and you put alot of time in them, but there are 2 concerns I have..

1. being made from alum.(which is a softer metal) do they tend to grad the rocks more and gouge, instead of just sliding over the rocks?

2. the lower link mounts. Those are rock anchors just screaming to get you hung up or for them to break

well the tubes do slide pretty good but i do get hung up on the diff sometimes. when crawling u need very good tire placement to keep yourself from getting high centered. so yes and no to the lower mounts. the next set will be mounted to the back side of the tube.

They may not be great for crawling but, they would be badazz for a prerunner project. Your maxx based solid axle rear and a maxx based indi front. Let me know if you ever want to get rid of them.
