I've got both front and rear axles ready to go into Project UBER MAXX but when I spin the yoke on the pinion one of the knuckles turns. I'm running MIP CVD's and it's only one side NOT both. What's the deal?

Second questions is I'm going to run REVO shafts with Maxx axles and tranny. I've removed the stub shaft of the REVO shaft but the output shafts are too long or something and I can't get the grub screw in to secure the drive shafts. Anyone got a remedy for this? I'd rather make adjustments to the plastic parts than the metal ones. Thanks guys

I had the same problem on mine with the shafts. One of my Mip CVD's had a tight spot in it (at the wheel end) which since it wasnt locked spun the easyer of the two..... As far as the revo shafts you shave some off of the inner of the female end (i used a sharp pocket knife) till it slips on thats the best explination I can think of giving...

Yoke turning? Is one of the axles (not the CVD itself) bent? Is the CVD rubbing a suspension arm or binding at all?

You can Dremel out the yokes to make them fit. I used a small drill bit, drilled through then kind of elongated the hole to make it work with the flats of the Maxx output (and input...at the diff) shaft.

The CVD's are new so I doubt they're bent. I may need to grease them more. I don't think I did that to them. I'll look into it today since it's raining. I'm going to go work on the tuber now. I'll keep you guys informed. Thanks

Is the CVD turning? You might not have a cross pin in the wheel hex. Its sounds stupid to forget something like that, but I've done the many times.

For the revo shafts, just grind down the excess plastic rib on the end of the yoke.
