maxxis trepador tires?

I missed that "new" part :D Back in the day we had to cut and glue pretty much all of our tires for crawling. I spent hours cutting and siping my old clod tires since nothing else was available.

LOL I was probly still in Primary school by the sounds of that!

Here's a few pics... not the greatest, but it'll give you and idea. The last pic is the Trepador next to a 2.2 Rok Lox. the Rok Lox isn't full size, though. I took 3 treads out of it to make it a little smaller:ror:

HPI already has licensing from Maxxis, so I bet if enough of you guys got together and asked, they'd probably make the Trepador and/or a decent representation of the Spooky for the scale market;-)
Now I gotta put these dirty tires back on my Blitz:ror:

Thank's for that mate. I wont get any, they are jsut too small and would look silly on my creeper.

On another not how do you find the Axial Scaler? I was looking one yesterday! I'm either going too buy the scaler or a Built Built Berg......same money...

This is my 1:1

The tires sidewalls are just too small.... If HPI made a 1.9 or 2.2 set in a decent compound, I'd buy them in a heartbeat and try them out.

I like the Honcho. It's typical good Axial quality, plenty of aftermarket parts for it.... I just sold off all my comp stuff to focus strictly on scale... I've owned several SCX10 based trucks and wouldn't hesitate to buy another. I've got a couple others I'm working on now;-)
It all boils down to what you want to do. If you want to stay comp, get the Berg. If you want to go scale, get the Axial. Both good trucks"thumbsup"
