*** May 14th - BBQ & Comp for ETXRCC ***

Cool beans. We need to have a sit down here soon and get the new guide lines ironed out. Give everybody a chance to make sure they are up to par.

Yep, while one team is running the other keeps their score. Then the guys that have ran can keep the scores for the score keepers. "thumbsup"

OH, And i think everyone should pitch in and buy pizza's for everyone so Eddie don't have to cook.

Started jotting some starting points down for new guidelines. Please give any thoughts or ideas. Let's keep this open and fun the way it's intended to be.
Also, Carter Fab & Machine is 100% behind making this possible as far as planning and donating as well as sponsorship.
G6 Guide Lines

As far as course lay out and time limit goes. Course needs to be able to be completed in 2 hours. If you do not finish you will receive points for progress. Stager the starting gate by 20 minutes per team or individual. Max of 2 people per team and team trucks must be in the same class. If a faster driver approaches a slower driver, and the slower driver does not have winch line pulled or in the process of being recovered, he must yield to the faster driver. If your truck breaks it must be repaired at point of incident. You can not leave the track at any time, unless you really got to "go", and at that time your controller must be handed to the race Marshall assigned to your group. You can send a non competing member for parts and tools. If your truck is not repairable, truck is to be left on course until all have ran. You may power it down and remove battery, but the truck should not be removed. These parameters are to give it a all out KOH style experience with the time limits and rules of TTC.
Me personally, am not a big fan of the multiple gates. I think there should be a boundary set for the entire course and gates are only used when there is a serious obstacle. All of the rocky sections or previously discussed bonus lines. They need to be placed reasonably. These are scale trucks not comp rigs. Similar to KOH compared to WEROCK in 1:1.

Also with the success of the first event that was held, I think we should do a series for next year. Do 4 comps 3 months apart to allow the out of town guys to plan and space out vacation time. There will be an entry fee. First 3 events are qualifiers. Top ten points placers go on to 4th round. Placers from 11-15 get a LCQ (last chance qualifier). This will be a one obstacle challenge.Top 2 drivers with best time and points advance. The previous 3 events points will be wiped clean and this will be based on this single challenge for advancement. As with the 4th round, all points are wiped clean for all drivers. Top 3 spots have money pay out at each event. Would also be nice to have some sponsors on board, if anything at least the 4th round.

Modified Class:

No tire over 4 7/8.

Tire must be a "scale tread".

Cut & Shut tires are allowed as long as they follow the size and tread requirements.

1.9 or smaller wheel.

No TVP chassis. Must use some sort of frame rails.

Front dig is allowed. No rear steer.

Functional winch strongly encouraged. Penalized points for not having one.

Must have front and rear recovery attachment points.

Have a point system for scale accessories and build features. Similar to existing scale rules.

Unlimited Class:

Tires can be no taller than 6".

Tires must be "scale tread".

Cut & Shut tires are allowed.

No wheel larger than 2.2.
I.E. No 2.8 or short course wheel (2.2/3.0).

No TVP chassis. Must use some sort of frame rails

One of the following may be used.
Front and rear dig. Or.
Four wheel steering.

Must have functional winch.

Must have front and rear recovery points.

Scale point system for accessories and build features.
