Mayweather for sure.;-)"thumbsup"

Should be a good fight(hopefully)

Ortiz is young and very strong and very hungry but maywether does have the experience behind him.

I think that ortiz is a stronger and harder hitter than maywether but he tends to forget about his jab sometimes which in this fight he is going to need to execute!

I would like to see ortiz end maywethers record:mrgreen:

So i'm rooting for ortiz"thumbsup"

WOW!...talk about cheap on ortiz for the headbunt but DAMN.. WHAT A CHEAP SHOT BY MAYWETHER!..

We reran the DVR about 10 times on that one. Yeah, one can say they each got their "cheap shots" in ;-)

After Ortiz gave his headbutt, he kissed and hugged Maywhether but I guess that was not enough appologizing. There was a boxing match going on and he got caught with his pants down (and hands). The referee said "fight" and Maywether was trying to put his hands up to fight but Ortiz was still trying to give a hug and got caught. If Mayweather didn't hit him one wanders how long the amends making would have gone on for.
Even the referee took that time to look over to the ring officials (for some reason) as the fighters did not immediately resume fighting upon him telling them to. In fact a striped shirt ring side official started the count as soon as Ortiz hit the canvas and the ring referee regained his attention and took over the count at around 4 or 5.

Even the Larry Merchant mentioned it as a "apology ceremony" (or something to that effect) when he kept asking Maywether about the undefended KO punch. His exchange of words with Maywether was good entertainment in itself :lmao:

Agree..both were cheap shots but if you ask me mayweather took way advantage of it and that was a cheap shot!

The ref wasn't even paying attn even after the 2nd hit?he was looking at the ringside judge and then he just saw ortiz hit the canvas and started to count:shock:...i can understand to protect urself in the ring but man come on,mayweather was clearly pissed about that head butt and clearly took advantage of a cheap shot!

Then what kills me is this:

Wow Floyd,What a disgrace to the sport of boxing... No respect for himself, his legacy or boxing... I live in his home town and even tho there are a lot of fans here, you'd be surprised that most ppl around here don't care for the guy. Maybe one day we will actually get to see him fight pacmam. so he can get the beating he deserves. On the upside, he did help me win my 5 bet parlay lol

Mayweather should've held his tounge after fight, but I think the 1,2,knockout was well deserved after Ortiz's headbutt.

Look at how easy Mayweather made it look! Ortiz was trying his hardest for the first 3 rounds, but look what happens when you piss off a powerhouse like Mayweather. Bing, Bang..... Boom

Whe you watch the headbutt in slowmo, you can see how deliberate it was.
He must've thought he was in a MMA match :lmao:

Guess he got some!

Dude,do you know how dirty boxing is?

Ever watch Bernard hopkins fight?lol

Of course the headbutt was intentional but it happens sometimes, you get frustrated and react in stupid ways and his sanity got the better of him.

But when you go to apologize for it and get slugged not once but twice:shock:
Sorry dude but that was a bitch move on mayweather plain and simple!you can see they hardly even seperated when he takes a cheap shot at him.

But what kills me is the interview that follows...he's like welp it was a 1,2 combo that i laid on him:roll:Really dude:shock:..you took a cheap shot with a fighter who clearly had his hands down and wasn't prepared to protect himself and your bragging like you ko'd him during the fight?

Regardless if he was winning the first 3 rounds,it was clear that he never hurt ortiz and ortiz was starting to turn it on in the 4th round prior to the headbutt.

Man i hope pac man gets his shot at mayweather before he retires?cuz now there's going to be a rematch so pac is out of the question for a while:roll:

I am still in shock with last nights events. It seems right out of a scripted sequence. In fact, it could be. Think about how many people now wants to see Pac knock the hell out of Maywheather. It was ethically wrong for Maywheather to take them cheap shots(and perhaps justified after that head bunt, dependig how you see it) but they were legal as the Ref had given the signal to resume.

If he headbutted me intentionally (which was obvious) then I would've powered up and knocked his ass out too. If I headbutted you and then apologized for it, would you really care about my apology? Even if I got down on my knees and begged for forgiveness? Hell- No! You would knock my ass out! Right?

You have a point, in my eyes it was a dirty move but I don't know if I would've done any better in that position.

Gotcha"thumbsup"

But it was intentional just to have the rematch and avoid pac man:mrgreen:

If he's as good as he is...then i would have finished him the right way so no one can say anything or have anything negative to say.

It's clear mayweather was pissed about the headbunt but he clearly saw the oppertunity to take a cheap shot and he didi jst that!

Now onto the ref...how do you say RESUME FIGHTING then turn to talk to the ringside judge and take your total attn away from the fight???

In my eyes, shame on all 3 men in that ring!

Joe Cortez has been invloved in some shady and controversial fights. He is one of the reasons for me to think that this was all scripted. Ortiz looked like nothing happened, the Ref looks away as soon as he resumes the fight, Ortiz's foul came at a point were he had the command of the situation. I mean, it just has "shady" written all around it.

And then talk shit to the old ass interviewer dude about kicking his ass? He should be on a serious probation or some shit from whatever organization that is.
