Menifee-Temecula area crawlers

Ben,
Have you ever run BFG all terains? IMO that is the best tire money can buy for all most every situation.

If by real men you mean sit on your a$$ and watch two cars go in a straight line or even a circle then no thanks. Total gayness
Unleashing 10,000 Horsepower and going 320 MPH in less than 4 seconds is hardly boring, man up and quit watching Jerry Springer :flipoff:

Helihover, I believe the BFG has a load range of C and D.
JDCrawler27. The truck is on 17 inch rims. The LT285/75R/17E equivalent to LT34/12.50R/17E Approximately 3 inches shorter and 2 inches narrower. Compared to the ProComps. Last year I installed a Skyjacker Dual Sway system, because of the death wobble. The 37's caused all six u-bolts to become distorted. The skyjacker was designed for max tire size of 35 inches I found out later. In answer to your question No I have never ran BFG's. Thanks

Ben, if you are not putting a big Camper on it anymore a D rated tire would be more than enough, I have 38 inchToyo tires on my Superduty and pull a 30 ft. toyhauler with no problems, they are also D rated

Have you shopped around for better prices? Like Swag said you gotta watch those sales guys. If they think they have you figured out they'll really pour it on thick.

I used to think America's tire was great, mainly because they were close by. Last time I bought tires I thought they were a little more that they should be, I asked the salesman what was up, he said that was the best price he could give me. After I paid and looked at my receipt I saw he charged me for the (optional) free tire replacement warranty which adds up to about $20.00 less that the cost of a new tire. I made him refund me the money and was so pissed. Right after this happened the guy that bought tires right before me made him refund him too. Some of these guys are scandalous.

Ben,
I highly recomend you give Barney's tire and wheel in Temecula a call, I get all my tires there and they beat the Hell out of 4 Wheel Parts price

I've been watching this one to, he's almost got your fab skills. Hope you do a build thread on yours.
That guy did some nice tube and styrene work. That tig welder looks like a good thing to have but I wonder how hard it is to get it into the tight places.
