Menifee-Temecula area crawlers

I have a sidewinder in it... we looked today it is pushing 11 volts to the motor... I don't know what the deal is... I lowered what my bec is pushing to 5 volts it was at 7 but I don't know what is going on

GAME WARDEN MOBILE
plus it just smoked a 65 turn motor in about 10 mins. help....

dang your a dennis the mennis kid. maybe you should get in to rockets thay have no motors to burn up. just blow up:lmao::mrgreen:

Well your bec has no effect on your motor. For a standard I would set your bec to 6 volts. Running 11.1 volts to a cheapy motor, generates heat, along with water/mud eating away your brushes. How is your gear mesh? Do you feel any binding in your drivetrain? I would invest in a decent 35T motor in the $40-$50 range that can handle the voltage and is rebuildable.

How close are you to Murrieta?

I dropped my BEC down to 5.5 but Its getting glitchy so I am going to bump it up to 6 maybe 6.5v... My mesh is good when the motors are installed... There might be some binding in the drivetrain or the differentials I have to take them apart and get new bearings and lube everything up but I dont think that would cause me to smoke through 8 motors that quickly... Maybe but I dont know.... Me and my buddy Steve have got some 12t on its way here and then if I burn through this one I am thinking of getting a Holmes Hobby 14t motor... And probably a Tekin 35T motor... I am on Camp Pendleton but on the Weekends I try to make trips up there since my mother in Law lives in Lake Elsinore and my buddy Steve lives in Murrieta.... Me and Steve are stumped on this problem I am seeming to have right now and am open to all sorts of help... Me and A friend thought that because my ESC has been wet that when it dried out it causes to much power to push out sometimes which causes me to smoke the motors ....

Shoot me a pm if you will be in Murrieta this weekend, I might be able to meet up with you depending on the time.

pull out your motor (if one is in it) and roll the truck. in a perfect world itll spin like butter. but since water is involved in all your outings your bearings are most likely shot. i replaced mine and dont get nearly as wet as you:shock:

This area is too big for a scale crawler. But it was cool just to see a little bit of this machines ability!!!!!!

Today is rebuild day, ordered a new tekin 35t motor today new drive lines, bearings. once its open we will see what all that water has done and replace it:flipoff:

I wish i could do a rebuild day... We all know the Game Warden needs some TLC... I am thinking that I should stop playing in that deep of water.. I mean I cant cut all the water out but I cant play in hella deep water
