Menifee-Temecula area crawlers

Always happy to try a new place,1.9 is cool to...

Steve... I think you will like the trail.

whats wrong with 2.2s?

Nothing, they work great, we designed the trail to be a challenge for 1.9's. It may be kinda boring with 2.2's. That and there are some ledges, tight spots and one bridge where rigs with 2.2's may not fit ;-)

Rules suck :flipoff: 2.2 have more fun anyways.

We dont really have any rules, though we do use recovery equipment to make things more interesting "thumbsup" Dont worry Juan, if you dont have the skills for a 1.9 rig, we can make an exception for you... :flipoff:

Some info.... videos in thread are in sequental from the start of the trail to about half way up. Sorry for poor quality

That looks really fun pretty nice trail... I am down at giving it a shot some time....

Thanks for the videos and pictures ickabob and Rockn!! I always have such a great time out on the trail and it's another treat to come home and see it on video!! I have to say I have really enjoyed the GTG's especially the fact that it's a family friendly atmosphere and you can really say "the more the merrier!!"

The onboard perspective is really cool! Is that a GoPro you are using?

oh, and Rockn... that gap jump with the cherokee you captured is awesome!! You need to make a .gif "thumbsup"
Yes rockn got some good shots in yesterday"thumbsup" that jump was fun to watch. nope not the GoPro is a kodak mini and its waterproof and as the bloopers will show its flip proof to....

Hey Farmer Ted, your daughter did really well with her Dingo! I've had one of my daughters out before joining the group, I'm not sure if she likes the scaling but we'll get her out one of these times to see how she does.

Wow you guys are rolling deep these days!!! Lots of nice rigs there!!! I want to come run with you guys. 4 of us spent all day workin on our local trail. It is about 6 hours to do the trail in both directions. Cool to see all you guys getting together regularly. Let me know if you have a 1.9 scaler and want to try out a purpose built trail off of HWY 76 east of Pala. :)

The gravel crew

I'd like to try that trail sometime! I've seen pictures of that trail somewhere recently. I thought it looked fun but was kind of wondering because I know you don't mess around in the groves without permission.

Your right on the family friendly part, we have had a few punks try us before but this group just seems to weed them out. we do have a few beers at the gtg/bbq's but even then its not to bad. JJr make's a killer drink even though it does nothing to me it seems to make my rig flip more:lmao:

That is good to hear! I have a 13yo son who enjoys scale crawling as well. I have been hesitant to bring him to GTG as he is at that pivotal age where he wants to sound cool like the guys he is around .

That thing is waterproof too? You should get in touch with Kodak, They'll probably send you some freebies, you've done R&D they've never dreamed of!

I have an 18 yr old son, he has a Dingo, I gotta say when we're out crawling we really have a great time together, not thinking about homework, when he's gonna mow the lawn... good times.

HAHA! ya I learned that at an early age. Farmers don't mess around when it comes to their crop! We have made friends with the land owner as well as the staff that runs the day to day operations. I live across the street and constantly chase off casino goers who think that just because the fruit is on a tree it is free to take! I have a few trees on my property as well, casino goers don't discriminate. The Grove operators appreciate what we do. Every now and then a group of guys will come by and watch while we make headway on the trail. They all say we dont bother them a bit, good news for us!
