Menifee-Temecula area crawlers

TVC
I hope everyone is staying dry. Armistice nice work on course layout. Keep up the good work.

Ben, did that storm come from anza? I live in hemet, and there was one heck of a light show for a good 20-30 minutes, and then it hit. Wow.:cry:I'm sure that I've got some damage on my property. It was very very windy.

Here's the slash jeep:

Those Ripsaws don't look half bad on there, Nemo. And they actually work. I did gear down to compensate. "thumbsup"

That wind and storm came from the southeast of Anza. The wife and our characters survived it no damage. How did you make out on your
property any damage?

I leave for work before the sun comes up, but from what I could tell it looked ok. Is there another one forming now?

Glad to hear about your new addiction and looking forward to seeing you and your brother making some trips out with us.

RC Hopper,
Have you looked into a scale from Harbor Freight Tools. That might help in the wheel weight department. I started out with 5 oz for the stock Losi rims and Rock Crawl tires then added some weight to it. I don't think that the scales that Harbor Freight has is that expensive. I hope this helps.

Bronco Bobby,
Take a look at NOAA weather, it gives you a pretty good idea what the weather conditions will be for our area. I hope this helps

Hadn't thought of that. I'll check em out on their web site, thanks.

I have a digital scale from harbor freight. Got it to weigh chickens my kids raise for the so cal fair. The scale works great. I have had it for three years. You can select grams, lbs or oz. Very hand and only about 20 to 30 dollars. I have been using it quite a bit for rc stuff. For example a slick output shaft with gear attached for a wraith weighs 31 grams, however the bullet proof Robinson unit weighs 60. No wonder the car keeps getting slower:ror:
