Yeah, well I lost that auction, but I ended up winning a Kyosho GS21. Hopefully that will end up working.

hope you got the one with the blue heatsink, the orange one was a big pain to keep it tuned.

Well, it was only 30 bucks, hopefully I can get a new carb, or whatever is wrong with it.
I can't remember what was wrong but mine and another guys motor were impossible to keep running. I think it was the carb seals

air leaks are your #1 tuning enemy in nitro. Seal that engine up especially around the carb.

Well, I'll bring the buggy to the next comp and see if I have any problems. It hasn't even come yet.

Are upgraded carb seals readily available? Also, does anyone have any unwanted nitro accessories cluttering up their work space?

rock, like the chassis, did you mainly shorten the height and cut out a bigger spot for the tranny?

Gopher, thanks! I can post a few pics tonight. I did open a small hole on the chassis for the spur gear, and shorten it up a bit. Other than chopping the bottom, this is the only chassis mod I made.
After I was done the chassis is 2 1/2 in wide

Hi guys. Just found this thread and figured I would say hi. A buddy and I just started building a couple 2.2 rigs. We live in Mt.Pleasant(center of the state). Got a good start on them, should have them rollin by sometime next week. I'll keep my eye on this and try to come down for a get together so we can learn some stuff.
Thanks,
Cade

I'll say welcome to cschafer and his buddy from mt pleaseant as I live in clio. Lots of very good people on this list and sure you will fit in with the group.

Have fun and if you do some digging through the mounds of past posts that have been made you'll find about most people on the list and there trucks. Take care and enjoy, Jerry"thumbsup"
