With Everett finishing his XR last week, I decided that it's time to build another one. Can't let little bro out do me:roll: I've always like stuff that's different from norm, so the Stingray naturally caught my eye when I first saw it. So here's the start of my build!

Talk about precision machining! This piece is beautiful!

Weigh in at 2oz with Steel hardware and steel balls. Some aluminum goodness will soon grace this. Steel stuff was only for mockup "thumbsup"

Stay tuned! I've got some stuff planned for this build that I bet you haven't seen yet...

Looking forward to seeing it come together! I like that chassis too, very unique and from what videos I've seen, very capable!

Jake

Nice chassis. I'm still not 100% sold on the no skid concept but the vid DID impress me.

I'll be watching. Lil bro went huge with his build. Did he sell your kidney when you weren't lookin?

LOL... Go big or don't go is my moto... :ror: But no about the kidney... He just wouldn't stay asleep long enough for me to perform surgery on him...

Be good to see how this build go's seeing i already have a shared interest in Everetts build :D

Hurry up! We want to see these things we've never seen before!

And This chassis looks supremely capable. I now DT put all his knowledge and some serious time behind that bad boy.

I actually started this design last year after seeing Christians rig but before i joined the house UGC team. Once i joined the team i started driving the viper 2 which i won 8 comps in a row the first times on the rocks :shock:and continued to win many comps with it was a very capable truck. When our UK teamate came back from the UK nats last year taking second to Christian i started again designing borrowing geometry from the viper 2 . The new truck was amazing but the Dickey started helping make changes and together we hit it out of the park with this final design last! Rhis is definitely the most capable truck ive ever driven. Now that its out for production i cant wait to see what people do with this thing.
