(MMM) Mini's Miami Moonbuggy

that's 86 Jeep Design's Steering the angel you get with this sterring is insane!!!!!

I didn't know his steering came with an angel, I will for sure go with his setup. j/k looks good, how does that electronic/battery plate extension on the skid work? It does'nt look like it will flex, is it a new idea or have you tried it before? I really like the plate may have to steal that idea. It really does look good and good list of top notch parts.

that plate is for mounting a battery pack. "thumbsup"

Well there ya go Mini. Glad to see you finally get it going. Seems like it's been a little while. Awesome list of goodies ya got there. "thumbsup"

Those white Fish Scabs flow with the body perfectly. Very nice.

You should have no problem making finals now.

Right?

Oh the battery works the whole chassis works the guys at T1E put alot of time and thought into the design of this chassis have driven a couple of these and stand by T1E all the way.

Thanks Shocker, yup like I said I made sure I did my homework when ordering parts for this rig.

The scabs are test panels for the Fish Labz skins thanks.

Don't know about finals but I will be looking foward to moving up in the rankings this year shooting for top 15.

Nice build Mini..are the comps only held in gainsville??

Nope, there pretty much in all of Florida from Miami to Tallahassee. Spoke with Scattman and he's setting up the scheduale fir the 2010 session, just keep your eye open in the Florida thread.

Are these losi shocks 3.5? Does every one run 3.5 on these moonbuggy's

Me and Pdog7 have been running Losi 4"s on ours with great results. They really slink with this setup and are really tough to flip.

Now that the trucks can't grow past 12.5" WB, it seems a little much so I'm playing around with 3.75" shocks... but it just doesn't seem as limber. "thumbsup"

Phase 2 got the shocks rebuilt and limited but won't know until I drive it, riding with the white losi for now until the BLING BLING gold springs come in. Mounted the rover's holy hell by far the easiest tires to mount on bead locks only had to do it once. Always swapped out all my black screw for the stainless was tired of the black ones rusting up on me . Mounted up the shocks to the chassis and axle's to see what it looks like now that the whole wheel base BS is over and done with going to make some custom links for the lowers and just gonna run some axial or traxxas top link have not decided yet, well here are some pics. "thumbsup"

Nice build Mini. "thumbsup"

I've since gone to the darkside and will say the MOA's are better than the shafty. I still have the SWX, but since the first of the year been running the Berg and will be in Atlanta on the 30th.
