That's right, the new rock crawling season is FINALLY here!!!"thumbsup"

New this season will be a more laid back 1.9 trail class to include some of the newest crawlers on the scene. Check out what is new HERE.

Also new this year is a little combination of 2.2S and 2.2 trail. That's right, got a 2.2 wraith? We finally have a class for you!!!! "thumbsup" Check out what is new HERE.

And, as always, we will have the 2.2pro class. Anyone not familiar with the rules of this class or the rules in general can check out this link HERE. Because as we have been doing in the past, and it has been working out very well, we will share the judging duty's.
1st--- you will time and call out penalty's for the person before you. This will give you an opportunity to see the course before you run.
2nd--- you run the course.
3rd--- you will score for the person behind you. I would encourage anyone not comfortable with the rules to ask for help! I would also like to see everyone take the judges test HERE.

At the time that I am creating this thread I am unsure of the running order for the classes this year. However if I had to take a stab at it , the order of events should go something like this.... 9am course set-up, 10am SHARP 2.2pro, then 2.2S/trail, and then 1.9 trail rounding out the day. If this is inaccurate (pimp) let me know and I will update this post.

Fees:
-MN State Park parking permits are required, but are available at the park for either a daily pass for $5 or a year pass for $25 (good at any MN state park).
-Also there is a club fee of $3 per comp or $30 for the series.

Directions:(map)
From the South: Take I-35 north. Take the Taylors Falls Exit, Hwy 8 East. Follow 8 approximately 22 miles. The entrance to the park office is located on the right hand side of the road at the only stop light in Taylors Falls. Stay to the right as you enter the parking lot.

From the North: Take I-35 south. Take the North Branch Exit, Hwy 95 East. Drive approximately 22 miles, passing through downtown Taylors Falls. At the stop light (intersecting hwy 8 ) continue straight. Stay to the right as you enter the parking lot.

From the East: Take Hwy 8 west into Minnesota. After crossing the St Croix River, turn left at the first stop light. Stay to the right as you enter the parking lot.

If there are some new people that haven't been to an event yet, just look for all the middle aged kids playing with toy trucks!"thumbsup"

Not sure if I will be able to make it to the season opener this year.... but I am hoping that I wont be as much of a stranger as I was last year.

Still scrambling to get my 1.9 finished. Need to mount the hood, electronics, and fab up a floor own and firewall. Also would like to make a new front bumper.

I lied. We'll be there.

Gonna try to run what I got. If there's any way we could make courses in a straight line that would be great.

I got a 400oz but I don't like the way the stock ax10 servo mount gets into the wraith chassis.

"thumbsup"..game on bitches. Sunny and 60's Sunday. 8)"thumbsup"

Don't forget your MN seasonal pass for the parks. Don't want to have to deal with the park patrol guy...

Mike, where can we buy those other then the park? REI or Gander Mtn?
