Model Rectifier Corp. tranny

I've got an old buggy made by MRC in 1991 and it has a tranny made for two motors and is fairly low profile. The dog bones are pretty thick but I wantes to know if I could use it on a stock TLT rockbuster chassis. Of course I would trim it down a bit. Thanks for the input. Sorry for posting in the wrong place, I think.

I'd keep the buggy as is and buy something that's more readily available.

If you decide to use it, where do you plan to get replacement parts for such an old tranny?

That looks like the Baja King. If it is, I got the same one. It was a "world scale" size stadium truck. Bigger than 1/8. Probably won't fit in a TLT, plus no parts for it.

yup that's a worldscale... no parts anymore, only 1 on ebay...
and probably way too big for anything else..

keep it for a collectible, or send it to me... i got the last world scale from mrc.. they took it out of their case..

You can actually still purchase parts straight from MRC for that. You can even change it over to a monster truck, or a stadium truck. I've got a Nitro Thunderking that I've been working on for a few months in my basement. They're literally indestructable. I'll put it up against any truck today for durability and still come out on top for a truck that is 13-14 years old.
