i say definately go with a rag top or hard top, not just open roll cage, for the front, fill in or cut out the original grill and make a new one with bondo or something. i don't know how you would fix the front fender to make it rounded on the front like that, or make fender flares. the doors would be easy, just cut out the old area for the door and make it square, and add another piece of plastic to fix it. I really cant tell in the pic, do sami's have shorter beds than jeeps? anyway, good luck, i've been waiting for another goood build thread.

Ya they have shorter beds and all around smaller bodys I belive. The bondo idea sounds good, but I'm thinking mock some stuff up in modeling clay then cover with fibirglass material and resin. I could prob make a whole new body this way with enough time. but i'd rather just modify the jeep body. I'm gonna start with a grill and maybe the body panels that go up behind the drivers head, and cutting the rool cage down and make it match the sami's single roll bar, I still want to keep it topless. I'll take pics and keep This "Samuari build" page going with my progress.

the link is broke:(

I'd love to see the finished product, I have 4 or 5 sammies, if you count the parts truck.
