^^ I wonder if it will have the low range gearbox feature the originals did back in the day? Those damn things would go almost anywhere.
They didn't mention it in the review, but it's too soon to tell.
They are talking about the high-mounted air-intake (opposite side of the bike from the muffler) and back-up kick starter, all-LED lighting and instruments, and available heated grips and a really nice top-box for the rack out back. Also, ABS is front-only, letting you skid the rear tire when offroad.
Companies in Japan already have aftermarket exhausts that look more traditionally old-school...

Gotcha. It was honestly one of those polarizing designs that you either loved or hated. It never did anything for me either way, but they were interesting tough as nails little bikes, and very capable provided you kept your expectations in check. I have family members that would love one though.
These had low ranges back in the day?! Very cool. I know Suzuki had a dual range transmission, but I didn't know that Honda did. I'm almost positive this one will not. It's using the Grom motor. They are basically a re-released Super Cub with a more rugged exterior. This even retain's the Super Cub's semi-automatic clutch which, IMO, you certainly don't want for off-road. This CT125 is awesome looking though!

I grew up riding dirt bikes, started on a pw50 and gradually progressed until I started riding a yz426f when I was about 16. Those bikes sure were tricky to start but I had it down.. a science most grown men couldn’t master lol!
My dad always rode KTM’s so when I finally had a good get off the old 426 8 years later I decided to upgrade. Since then I’ve owned my KTM 525xc from 2014 and it is a beast of a desert bike.
I stripped the bike down to nothing, powder-coated the frame and swing arm threw a bunch of new parts at it. Part of the thrill I guess lol
But by far the most fun bike I’ve owned was a 2013 KTM 690 enduro. I had the pleasure of owning the bike for a year and put around 3500 miles on it. Had 2 setups for it 21/18 dirt and 17” Supermoto. I had to sell it to make a big change in my life and I hope to own another at some point in my life.

The terrible part is the tire budget for riding season. I do miss it on occasion though. And I agree, great shot!!

It`s not THAT terrible as it looks, it`s even okay.
Especially when you ride Motorcycle.
Driving a motorcycle is irrational anyway... that's why it makes you happy.

I have as much fun on my motorcycle as I do on vacation. Probably more fun on my motorcycle to be honest. And tires are cheaper than any vacation that's worth a damn.

Brought home a brand new '20 Honda Shadow Aero 750 yesterday. Been about 8 years since I had a bike (longest duration since I was 14), but man, it was like coming home! "thumbsup"
