mrc 977 super brain for lipo????

So I just bought this 977 super brain pro series charger from a friend but I don't have a manual and my buddy couldn't tell me if it would charge or not. I only own 1 2200mah 3s lipo for my gt3b. will this charger safely charge it? will I need a balancer? new to lipo.

Yes it charges lipo. I have one and use it regularly and it will charge two batteries at once. I use an external balancer with it but it's not needed with every charge. Read over the link above and it will tell u everything.

ok so according to that I can safely discharge this lipo too? how long can a 3s lipo sit with 11.8v before it gets wrecked? I just don't want to wreck the only lipo that I have. lol.
