Has anyone seen any of the J45C bodies out there yet? Been patiently waiting/watching, but haven't seen anything aside from MST's news releases.

The video that they have shows the metal molds for the back half as being completed, not sure why they didn't make it to the market before the end of 2019, as they originally stated...

It's such a cool design, with a tilt body and a sweet detailed cage and little bed. It should work out perfectly on an Enduro chassis, but since it's been delayed so long I am heading in a different direction with mine for now, at least.

I am sooooo picking up that body. I picked up the JP1 as well. I kind of wish the original CFX-W's came with bodies like these. I know the CMX and CFX were mostly Tamiya bodies, but these... they've done a great job with the 2 CFX-W sized bodies.

Please let me know when you find them in stock somewhere. I feel like I need one as well.

So, after some delay - we have a new date for the MST 532182 CFX-W KIT J45C - sometime in mid-May for the kit - I may not be able to wait for a separate body to be available, this could just get added to the collection!:

I am loving that body configuration. I also like the JP1. As I recall, it was a fairly long wait for the JP1 body available separately. This is definitely on my radar though.

It's not just that having an accurate 1/10th Toyota FJ45 Lexan body is long in coming, but that caged back-half is super nice and will look great with a selection of scale accessories attached to it.

I'm going to try to set it up like the guys who run them in the competitions in Borneo do, with relatively small and narrow wheels and tires - portals will help with clearance!

It may take a while before I can justify adding another RC, tho'... "thumbsup"

Just me? Is that rear axle a steering axle? It looks like there is a knuckle peeking around the back tire in that third pic.

It does look like some front end parts on the rear, though its lacking the linkage and mounting points it seems. I would imagine the knuckles are locked in place. Maybe this is just how MST does their portals? IDK I'm not familiar.

The front and rear axles on the CFX-W are the same. The rear uses additional links to lock the portals from steering.

Nice of axial to just release a new chassis for this bodyiii. I would have to buy two trucks. Yep.

???

Please explain...

This thread is about an MST body for their CFX-W chassis - not sure where Axial comes into the mix.

Pretty sure he's just joking that he wants to put this body on the SCX10 III.

This is going on one of my SXCs for sure! The only reason I’d have an MST kicking around is if I had to buy the whole kit to get the body. Nothing against MST’s products, but everything I’ve got is Axial, or Axial based, so I don’t see the need to add in an oddball rig.

Cool pics, Teng!!!

Thanks for posting..."thumbsup"
