Mr. Orange
Newbie
After many years I finally got one I like. In 2013 I got a Wraith but did not like it sold it 4 month later. Then came the RR10 and my interest in a Axial woke again and no I have it..
It is now in it´s second life as a crawler first I did use the original cage and body with a nice custom paint. It is the isle of Gotland in Sweden and the medieval Visby city wall, Visby ringmur. And I did not like the cage and the panels. I wanted something more covered and cooler.
Then I did remember my Pro-Line body for the revo. It did need major remodelling to have that body on it. So this is the first attempt and I have one more. Where the front is still there and the blower intake from the motor.
The work begins.
Here you can see how much I have cut away.
For driver I have Lara Croft. And she is on the right-hand side typical the British way. Her seat is from Wraith.
The first version and not so good lights.
Today I did it better with lights and I added a roof-rack.
Now it´s time to add more things to it to get a more scale look. Until those pictures will come I can write down the set up for my RR10.
Motor: RC4WD 35T
ESC: Hobbywing crawler
LiPo: Zippy compact 2S 1500 mAh 40C will change to 3S later on.
Radio: Sanwa MT-4s
Servo: Savöx 1268sg
Body: Pro-Line rat-rod #3410-00
Front light: Home made 5 mm ultra bright
Light bar: XP 7-LED Aluminum Light Bar 120mm
Decals: Home made "Death Pool" from Tarantino movie, stunt man mike´s car
That´s all folks!
