Oooooooooooooh, OK.

Well I own a 63 CJ5 and a 71 Commando, so I think I have the "Jeep" thing covered.

So, care to elavorate, or is it something that you just heard and repeat alot?

Just because you OWN a jeep does not mean you have a clue

85% of TJ's in the southwest are never driven off road and are owned by airhead blondes, It has been an internet joke on Pirates, Jeepin.com, offroad.com NAXJA.org Jeeps Unlimited. etc since the Tj has been out. maybe you just need to get out a little more.

Like I said if you have to explain it, its no longer funny

Now see how easy that was.

Now just because 85% DON'T get used, doesn't meant they CAN'T be used.

Big difference!

I don't get to use my Jeep alot at the moment as they are in Cali. and I am in Missouri, but beleive me, I've done my share.

But I guess if your not a regular on Pirate, Jeep Unlimited, or NAXJA, you just don't have a clue.

You know my Grandfather and my Dad were off roaders their whole lives, and taught me to love the desert (AKA DEZFAN), yet they never once were on-line, did they have a clue?

Tires were bald so I picked these up today. 31" Procomp MT and Series 51s

MTRs will eventually go on the wheels when I lift it but I needed new tires very badly.

Also picked up the Warn powerplant HP winch today. Warn F&R bumpers on the way too. So here's an update on what still remains to be purchased/done.

Rock Krawler Super 8 kit
Currie 44 axles F&R w/Eaton Lockers @ 4.56
Engine Rebuild or New Crate
3.8:1 Atlas
Goodyear MTRs
Staun Beadlocks
Internal Cage
Sliders

 I can't belive nobody has said Rusty's Off Road yet! Stuff for any jeep but their xj stuff is "thumbsup"

Yep yep. Thats what I had on my XJ, and I loved it. It's cheap, but definately gets the job done and does a damn good job doing it too.

If I did have the money to blow though, Rubicon Express would be my lift of choice.

BDS makes good lifts, but he already has what he is going to buy in mind.

I like the XJ, the new tires are pretty nice.

I used to be like member 84 or so, forgot to resign one year now Im 3 something LOL

used to be xjnation. on NAXJA now rockwerks.

NAXJA rocks. I am member #42. Great group.

Look into to Tomken for a kit, local Colorado company and they really make decent lift kits.

you'd be amazed where that could go with 31's and a pucker lift.
my freind has an XJ sport w/ 31's , pucker lift (2") , long travel Detuche shocks , oper diffs and went up a 6 ft rock wall that was giving heavilly built (fully locked) YJ's a hard time. They almost sh#t themselves.
