Suggestions and comments are welcomed

Man that looks great did that axial chassi bolt up pretty easy I really like it chassi looks I am thinking of getting one for my creeper keep us posted.

Had to shave off a bit of plastic for the tansmission skids to fit.
The hole in the Axial frame and Venom skids are almost at the same place

Are you getting much bump steer with that set-up?

So far i only tried it in the house ( need to water proof the rooster and servo -- JR Z650M) i live in canada -- snow

I do get little when the shocks are fully extended , shorter shocks would help i think. I tried to put the link the same level as the servo but it would rub on the tire..
First time i try this set-up so open to any suggestions to make it better :P

The simplest way might be to run a panhard bar set up instead of the four link for the front axle, but it might not be that simple with where you have the servo arm positioned. This set up works best with the servo arm as close as you can get it to the frame rail, so when you run the track bar from the same frame rail down to the other side on the axle. You want to do this so that the arc that the track bar and the steering link move stay as parallel as possible.

You have just made my new favorite Creeper. How hard of a fit was everything? I might have to go get a Scx10 frame for when my Creeper comes in. Whats the wheelbase with this setup?

For that set-up i would need to get or make 1 like Hand Brothers CMS Kit ???? Isn't 4 link better than 3 ???
With the servo arm i have right now my wheels turn all the way. Can i get the same range with a panhard set-up ????
Sorry for the noobs questions lol

The wheel base is the same as the Venom 12.5 .
i used the same links , the lowers mount at the same place under the tranny. For the top i had to figure out where to drill new holes in the frame.

At first i was going to use Transmission Mounting bracket that come with the SCX10 frame set. The wheel base come to about 12 5/8 with the Venom lower links ( I think ). For the top link i stole some from my E-SAVAGE .

Then run the Venom trans on it side ( motor on the bottom-- lower COG right ??? ) but couldn't figure out a easy way to bolt the tranny to the Axial bracket.

I don't have a spare tranny case so i didn't risk modding the only 1 i have.

thats a nice chassis you have there, Planning to do the same thing but with TLT axles. The SCX chassis is probably the most realistic on the market at the mo. Happy Crawling :)

I was waiting for someone to do this, & with the ability to unlock each axle, makes for added cool scale factor.

I've been pondering a similar build but with a custom chassis.

small update

I got some new stuff :P

Pro line powerstroke scaler shocks
3Racing crawler winch
2 Light bar ( still not finished ) 1 top and 1 for the bumper
Rok Lox 2.2 tires
V11 35T integy motor
Pro line eight shooter 2.2 bead loc that i had on my wheely king
clear1x1.gif

Also started on the front , back bumpers , and side bars ( not bad for my first try i think LOL ) and a panhard setup
