Started off downloading IBex chassis design from Harley, then made a few changes as I went.

3/16 steel rod and used a brake line bender. Not the greatest job, but had my little 110 mig collecting dust out in the garage so I gave it a whirl.

Very cool. I usually cringe when opening a first chassis link but this one's nice. "thumbsup"

Time to replace the WB Drive shafts I used to get this up and running, my new for this rig JunFac carbon steel drive shafts showed up. Been using them in my Wraith and have had ZERO problems with them and the price is right for a person trying to maintain some what of a budget.

Very nice work, I'm jealous. I don't have the tools or the skill for something like that, but I wish I did!

Thx's, If you look close at my welds you can see that they are rather sloppy. Have had co-workers ask for me to build them something and I turn them down, if what I build breaks when I run it, hey it was my crap. If my sloppy welds break when they run it, I build crap that breaks and would be constantly responsible for it then.

It is more of having the tools and the basic understanding and the willingness to try.

The side panels arent doing it for me. You've got some nice lines there and they seem hidden now.

Not telling you how to build your truck. It's still cool "thumbsup"

The rod is cheap enough. I did a bumper for my Ascender first, and then I plunged right in after that little practice weld.

Now trying to decide what to build next?

great job! I had a hard time believing that a flux core welding could do this and not be a complete mess but you have completely sold me on it now... some hobby files could make that thing look perfect (it still looks great).

Nice job! I also use a mig and 3/16 steel rod, really easy to weld and extremely strong. Are you using flux core or 75/25 gas?

For your 1st that came out really nice. I tried to use a mig, but I got better brazing.. To me it comes out cleaner then mig welding or I just stick at welding.. Lol!!!
