i dont get it... no suspension, single speed, i though mountain bike technology was going the other direction.
Wow, I take off for a few hours and 20 replies? Thanks for the comments guys, I love it, plan on getting out tomorrow morning for a while. If you haven't ridden a single speed rigid you won't get it. Its fun, simple, and hurts like he!!. I'm actually faster overall on my single speed because I have no choice.

I'm running a 32 in the front and a 20 in the rear. We have some big hills around here and the gear seems to work well. Also the 29er wheels require a slightly lower gearing than a 26 single speed.

Its light but not too light, about 23 lbs. Big frame, big wheels, and steel all add up.
