Light installed.. they arent bright thou... :(. They don't project like real lights. Maybe I need brighter light kit.

I was looking for something old school too, but had no luck. I was going to go with this one because it looks uinique and the toggle swith could be painted black and mounted near the gear shifter, but I decided to install the one I already had at hand because I never use my winches anyway. They're just for show on my stuff.

I'm going to look at the new release from RC4WD when it comes out. It's going to have a metal case and a dead lift of 6+ pounds. I won't buy the wireless because after using the HeyOK harness for radios with a two position 3rd channel and liking the results, it will be a little cheaper. I'm using three 3racing winches now with good results along with the above harnesses. For as often as I use a winch, the cheapies are good enough for me.

Who makes that one Alpha Male?

Who makes that one Alpha Male?

The winch is sold out of China and no information is given about which company makes it, but Integy makes one very similar. If you look on Ebay for "Billet Machined Auto Winch for 1/10th Scale RC Crawler" you'll find it.

Some time when you get a chance, I'd like to see the underside of the Sawback body and how you ran the lights up front. Are you using battery power (9 volt) to power them or are they powered via the receiver. Thanks.

That was fast, thank you. I see two connectors, what do they plug into? Thanks.
