My XR Build To help a good Friend!

Sorry to hear about your loss... Good to see everyone helping out a good guy who has done so much for the crawling community!!! Tickets purchased and when I can I will get some more!!!!

Just got word from Chris from CreationFab that he will be offering his services for a custom wiring job!!!

Thank you Chris!!!!!

This build keeps getting better and better!!!!

Are there any other parts that you need from me for this?

Im not in charge of this but my 2 pennies...NO! This is FOR you brutha...not FROM you. Let the community give back homie. You've ALWAYS stepped up to help out those in need. Whether it's prizes for comp, parts for raffles or just advice for the needy...you're always there. So sit back, spend time with your family & accept the love brother. "thumbsup"

Thanks Allan, we are sorted for wheels, tyres and foams

Everything is now accounted for except a servo, to make this completely RTR.

Re: A Team BWD and RCC Community XR Build To help a good Friend!

I'll be supporting this and passing on the word.

I just found this thread, sorry for the hard times for Don and family. I wish I'd found this earlier to help out with the build, but I just picked up a couple of tickets for the raffle, 10 to be exact...lol. Looks like it'll be a killer rig once all put together and set up and like was said before, someone will be a very happy xr10 owner for sure. I'll be passing on the info as well to those I know who aren't on here very often. Again, this community is awesome, I've never seen so many people pull together to help so many in need as I have in this forum, it's simply amazing.

Motors ready to ship "thumbsup"

I went with a basic 35t TorqueMaster PRo build with a Stage 3 lightening kit and Ceramic bearings. Nothing too fancy, but still pretty nice.

Tickets purchased. Thanks for doing this for Don & his family, I'm sorry for their loss. The outreach by the board members is simply awesome.
