I wanna be Dave
I can't wait to get my e-Revo and Slash. "thumbsup"
traxxas builds crappy rtrs for noobs.the only reason trashass is where they are is because of there advertising dep. go buy any rc mag and count how many ads you see for trashass.and now there in alot of other mens mags also.revo sucks t-maxx sucks e-maxx sucks (i owned all three at one time)the one thing that everybody needs to take lessons from is...........you guessed it the ad men.95% of the worlds wealth is held by 5% of the pop. do you know who those 5% is ?that's right sales.the other 95% of the worlds population has 5% of the wealth.if doubt my words at all please go to ebay & look at all the trashass used junk for sale, they've got the most!ha!haaa!haa!he!he!haa!haa!lol! You are clearly misunderstand the real business aspect of RC.
The Traxxas T-Maxx still outsells the Revo to this day. Like it or not compared to the Revo, the T-Maxx is what made Traxxas what they are and it has now worked for them. Also to be noted it was Traxxas that pioneered user friendly nitro, making other nitro classes fall into the idea of roto-starts and other user friendly additions.
Traxxas can't compete? Thats odd the Revo is a 6 time National champion. Sounds like a competition...its too bad the Revo sweeps up yearly and across the nation with wins.
Where would crawling be without the Rustler/Stampede trans? The TMAXX big bore shocks? It would still be around, but not nearly as accesible or as cheap.
Funny thats what sells. Racing products do not keep the industry running anymore. The thing holding RC at its current level of sales is purely bashers.
Unless you like being a hypocrite I assume you will no longer buy Team Losi products either (including wheels and shocks) as they have been focused on the Traxxas market now for over 1 year solid. Just like Traxxas they are making very fast claims and sticking them on RTR boxes. They are taking existing vehicles slightly modding them to become new RTR models to make people buy more of their stuff.

sorry guysi left the e-revo out i'm sure it's big pile of crap to.
Of course the tmaxx is gonna outsell the revo.. The Tmaxx has been around for like 10 years longer, and is cheaper.. Im sure the stampede has sold more than the revo as well simply because of the price. if traxxas would concentrate more on quality and keeping up with the pace in Rc, then maybe they would be someone track worthy. The revo is the only thing (Besides the slash now) that traxxas has put some ingenuity in, since making the maxx back in the day.You are clearly misunderstand the real business aspect of RC.

have you got something you would like for me to lick big boy.

Anyone that has owned a Tmaxx cant tell me they didnt have to stick at least a grand into it to make is as durable as a Stock savage.. Every Traxxas product seems to take a good chunk of money just to compete with other stock rtr's as far as durabilty which is the key with rtr's.
OK, so I'm trying to be as internet nice as possible here. What has HPI, Losi, AE, Kyosho, Tamiya or anyone else done to revolutionize the R/C world since the TMAXX?
If you guys think Traxxas is right up there with the other Rc comps out there, then tell me this.. Why is it they dont plan to get into the crawler scene? Why dont they have a 1/5th scale that is worth a shit? Why havnt they made a Nitro buggy? How about a truggy? How about a Micro or a mini?
The tmaxx came with the .15 pro then they changed widened the arms and slapped a new mill in it and they figure thats enough to ride on for 5 years, then they lengthen the chassis a bit and put in yet another new engine and that will tide them over for a while.. Revo's done the same thing. The rustler did the same thing, they did the same thing to the 4tec.. getting my point here?
Hummm....they already seem to be in on the "scene"....I have used quite a few traxxas parts on my crawlers....transmissions......metal yokes, etc. Why is it that you need a RTR crawler? My favorite part of this hobby is building my crawler....not having someone build it for me.Why is it they dont plan to get into the crawler scene?
i could never waste that much time on an asswipe like u.It's still YOUR opinion, so be it. I don't see how a brushless system reflects on the rest the product, and competition is a good thing.
Buy a star and I may respect your opinion, or even value it, but I doubt it.
As far as my "frog" goes, I don't go that way, but thanks for asking. I'm flattered and grossed out at the same time, but if your any good, could you give my wife some pointers? Do you gargle or spit? Just wondering.
I am very sorry your schooling and computer skills are as poor as they are. I could guess you are texting with your fat thumbs, or with something else for that matter.
I do like you, I need a good laugh just like everyone else, but you do seem to be a bit of a disapointment there too.
Please work on the afore mentioned things for your next post. I look forward to your reply.
Thank you.
Regards
Oops, that got off topic. Go Traxxas!
