Hi here are few pics of my roller still deciding on how to do my panels.I am wanting to do a crawler right but not planning to do any comps just having fun but on a budget and christmas and kids comes first planning on holmes motors,novak m2dig vertec will have his fri so will know about his if not holmes esc,new futaba pl or spectrum dx3r radio,hitec 7980,3s lipo.Have enjoyed learning from everyone if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated.

Just a couple ideas here for your panels here. You could cut up a proline bug body(this actual looks really good when done right), custom cut standard lexan sheet the way you want to, or as ittybitty point out to me that he is using some pretty nifty cutting board material from Wally world pretty cheap. Then if you just want to take the easy way and support the man you could always buy the panels from Krawlfreak(Jeremy).

not sure how youre getting the small pics...but when you are on your photobucket site copy the "Direct Link" address from under a picture you want to post and then you can either click on what looks like a photo of a mountain above the area where you type a new message or you can type

and put the address between them where i typed "put DIRECT LINK here". i usually type the

once and copy it then paste it several times then i can just go back and forth from photobucket to this site and paste the links between the IMG tags and then post em up!

Thanks vertec ready to throw this computer in yard and go crawl on it.Yeah I did buy the panels from jeremy I was trying to decide either to paint or skin or went with can cutting.

can't wait to see how this looks when you get the upgrades added. i'm a fan of the original orange color and have been considering the vp parts. don't suppose you've looked at the vp c-hubs and knuckles in orange have you? i'm sure they are great but i'm not sure i want to also buy new wheels to get them.

Here is some pics the vp orange is a matte color versus the axials glossy but color is close.Yeah that's the next thing I will be going after is the vp knuckles and a set of vp wheels just to get tires out of springs and better turning now just have to figure out how to wire everything up waiting on vertecs help on that.

Thanks guys for all your compliments yeah I had to wait for christmas and income tax to do this.kinda good thing for having to wait so long everybodys kinda got the bugs worked out on the xr and know which route to go.This forum is the best thing ever learn something new everyday now to get it wired up and go scratch everything up.just hope stock gears survive in the vp cases.
