I need to replace the original steering servo on my 1/16 RedCat Everest.

The POS original didn't last 2 days use before locking up.
The motor failed... not the the crappy plastic gears.
Tho' they likely would have... had the motor not seized 1st.

I've had good luck using Savox servos

and so have a mind to try this one...
albiet: it seems kinda pricey for my needs.

Savox SH1250MG Micro Digital Servo

So I wouldn't mind spending less coin.

Anyone have another suggestion for a mini HT/MG servo
that supplies enough torque, don't break easily and costs less to purchase ?

I rarily drive this RC and travel rather slow when using it.

I plan on sticking with using the original 25a rated ESC
tho' I'm not sure what internal BEC voltage is supplied with that ESC ?
but I'll guess it's at or abouts 4.8v.
So not really looking to purchase a high voltage (7.4v) servo.

I think the servo will need operate at 4.8v

Here's the external measurements I'm needing...

36mm wide (width)

15mm tall (height)

29mm deep (output shaft surface to back cover)

thanks if you chose to share your opinion "thumbsup"

^ thanks for your shared opinion and I thank you for your time.

I reviewed the differences between the Savox and Hitec
and ended up going with the Savox
'cause I got the Savox for near abouts the same cost as the Hitec.

The Savox's case size is exactly the same external dimensions
of the one I'm replacing, Whereas the Hitec would have me making adjustments.

Plus the digital Savox has a coreless mtr Vs Hitec's 3 pole mtr.

Tho' would be my guess that either would have worked sufficiently in my mini RC.
