Sounds liike a good start.I have the Castle SC system on a 6 cell and it's fun but,think I want a little faster next time I head to the beach.Just not sure how soon that'll be due to circumstances.

I have castle sc system in mine with 54t spur 31t pinion and running 3s Gens ace 40c lipo. It will stand straight up and do 50+ mph. It is funny but its a but rediculious for a 2wd sct.

Nope. Traxxas makes a 31 tooth pinion for it part #2431.
