My buddy, who isn't a rc guy just bought a traxxas ken block brushless car and I want to find something you run around with him. I want a rally car that can do some dirfting and sliding but needs some ground clearance to handle some dirt too. Kinda like the traxxas has. But I want something more scale. If you guys can direct me I'd appreciate it. I couldn't be any more of a newb when it comes to cars. Thanks in advance.

need some drift/rally car idea's

I picked up a lightly used HPI RS4 Rally a couple years back on eBay. I've always like the WRX and my brother has a HPI RS4 Pro4 drifter so I knew it'd be a solid platform. I've done a few off-the-shelf upgrades but parts are getting hard to find, was thinking about going brushless and Lipo soon.

Tamiya has some nice bodys with mirrors and stuff. And I can't remember where but you can buy intercoolers,exhaust tips, all kinds of stuff. Also I have some rally cars for sale.
