Need your opinion!

couldnt decide were this should go so ill put it here.

im sure several of you have seen my wraith build on here. im already $600 into it! part of it was pieces to repair the chassis, wraith axles, upgrade links and mips, also the chassis an scx10 axles that were included.

the build has gotten me to lose the interest in it because of all the unexpected parts that it needed and the idea i had for it wont look right.

heres were i need your opinion! i was originally going to do a clod build, using either mrc, scx10, or wraith axles. i already have a set of each if those axles and the body. the clod i have ideas for but dont have the money to do both.

which build would you do and why?

I love clod builds but you can get lost in them too. In fact I got derailed on my true scale MRC Clod build a while back and just sold it. Just to many projects.

If your looking for scale I recommend a clod with the MRC axles. It looks sick. Wheel tuckin good times. But please ever expect the preformance of the wraith or anything even close for that matter.

I love my Wraith for its comp rig like capability and being what it is. But my scale projects consume all my time. If you like to tinker dive into scale and get lost in it.

it was actually your clod build that gave me the idea. if i do the clod build it will most likely be 1.9 on scx10 axles, so the tires stick out a little bit, with a custom stinger style bumper to make it look mean. leds of course as well

Here is what I think. If you want to build a clod, Build a Monster truck that all can appreciate.

You want to build a KOH truck, then build a wraith all can appreciate. the 2 just don't blend well and I hate to say this and I mean absolutely no disrespect at all.

thats what killed the plans for the wraith. once i got the links it just looked stupid. needed the skid dropped about 2 inches and wouldnt have looked right

Agreed

You can do axial axles with beefy tires and it will be much more capable. Only thing is figuring out how you want to handle the front opening up of the wheel wells.

how does a 1.9 clod on scx10 axles.
dick cepek dc2 wheels

and an offroad style wrap around bumper with a more aggressive stinger and 2 leds in it

nah the sc8e is too much fun. its not going anywere unless somebody will take it as a roller in a trade for a nice lcg slash 4x4 plus cash
