New: Alaska Off Road Warriors on History Channel

I'm assuming PTO for the winch, The tire size was limited to 37", and they all still had to travel on the main road system from trail to trail.

How fast do they gotta go? I drove welded diffs and 35"s down the freeway. It's a little hairy with low tire pressure and bead locks but it's totally do able.

My take was the D90 got stuck on purpose, just to give some 'technical' content to the show (pulling out the winch).

I do believe that the D90 has ARB lockers, because I swear I saw him flip the locker switch right after the hill climb. I want to go back and check.

I am enjoying the show but I find it to be extremely orchestrated.

Yeah the show is definitely not marketed for any of us. It's geared towards the average moron that drools in front of the tv on a daily basis and doesn't even know where Alaska is.

Could be close, but I doubt it. I paid 1200.00 for 4 on my Ranger (35's), but thats been a few years ago. The 38's on my wifes JEEP will run us around 490.00 a tire....

This show is really hard to watch. I keep hoping it will get better with more actual wheeling footage and less (fake) drama. It seems like there must have been a requirement that all show participants must possess at least three generations of inbreeding (at least a majority of them act like it). Personally I would have preferred seeing both higher quality humans and rigs and less BS. I guess I'm not their target demographics (unemployed democrat wife beater with an IQ 30 or lower).

One of the contestants is posting on Pirate and said the 3k was for all 5 BOGGERS. shipping would be a mother all the way to AK.

I haven't seen lines this bad since the 80's... Ya he's a tweaker lmao. Its good to see a somewhat offroad show on tv. The over dramatization feeds the general public. For those of us who do wheel, it simply drives us bat shit crazy. Besides water crossings (I hate water) I haven't seen one challenging or overly difficult obstacle yet. If an opened front and rear diff IFS 4runner can make it, its not that hardcore.

Yep, I agree with everyone.

Those two are or were MethHeads.

All the rigs are either junk or uninteresting.

All the people on the show are bad actors.

The wheeling is lame and boring.
