New: Alaska Off Road Warriors on History Channel

So did we establish whether Pete and Shey were husband/wife or brother/sister? and them brothers are definitely on a trip.

This show is really hard to watch. I keep hoping it will get better with more actual wheeling footage and less (fake) drama. It seems like there must have been a requirement that all show participants must possess at least three generations of inbreeding (at least a majority of them act like it). Personally I would have preferred seeing both higher quality humans and rigs and less BS. I guess I'm not their target demographics (unemployed democrat wife beater with an IQ 30 or lower).

Yup, agree completely. Have only watched the last episode, but that'll be my first and last. Too bad really. It could have had some definite promise.

They claim brother/sister.....but i get the "divorced, trying to get you back" vibe from pete

Even if he was overly tree hugger, i wanted to see the 90 go a little longer. Now ive got to ignore pete&shey whilst hoping their SAS 4runner holds up

i think history channels been reading our posts. i noticed last night on the "specs" graphic for super jeep, it now reads 48" wheel wells. instead of 48" tires.

also i noticed the drama definatly is being fed in more each episode. i gotta call faked on the passout.

Even if they were reading these posts, that show was filmed so long ago it wouldn't matter what we ( or any one else) commented on. Think aboot it- it's mid December. All of those trails are under 10' of snow right now.

What happened to the Rover to get him eliminated? I went on a trail run this past weekend that he was a part of. He was driving a Land Rover that was almost as old as my parents. Seemed like a nice guy. He was even kind enough to go first.

He busted an oil line earlier, patched it, bit noticed at the end of the trail he had lost alot of oil again. Pulling out of camp it went to knocking and he shut it down

Should've asked him.

I imagine he gets asked a lot about the show, so I didn't bug him about it. I also don't follow the show that closely so I didn't know he had been eliminated at the time.

That and alaska only gets "midnight sun" for a short period during north american summer

Aaannndddd the drama starts (or ramps up)Are you racing or jerking each other off? Left behind, gimme a break. The film crew was there. How is that being left behind (just pissed off more than likely). And some of their climbs, pathetic. I would scare Butchie to death on some of the shit I have gone through. Has society gotten so bad that we NEED drama everywhere we turn. This show is more about what not to do, rather than wheeling in AK.

Maybe these 'off road' warriors will accidently cross over onto the gold strip mine that the Viking owns and he will take each vehicle and send them through his rock crusher. Then the drivers will be sold as slaves to work for the Hoffmans on their drama packed 2-1/2 ring circus. "thumbsup"

Ok, Pete said "he was proud of his sister", and from the previews for next weeks show, it appears the guys with the Rover is coming back with the Rover that K_B showed in the pic above^

I've missed the last 2 Sunday's due to snow plowing, but evidently I haven't missed much, as I found this thread way back on pg5, lol. Last thing I remember seeing was the guy in the Rover came back in a red Rover, and they told him he could tag along, but that he couldn't compete for the money.

I just caught up on a few episodes this weekend, and in all honesty, there was just too much drama for me.i understand its reality tv, but there was just too much for a bunch of guys just off roading.

It is great to see a show about offroading, just take some of the drama out please"thumbsup"
