New Axial "working on something fast"

Boy I sure hope Axial keeps it real and launches a completely new RC vehicle and not a highly debated yet ultimately POS new Jeep..... :lmao:

2.2 IFS front/ SA rear would be KILLER! And dont go overboard on the cage... if there is a cage at all.
Let the aftermarket and custom builders create cages...
Make a good platform for a viable race class and watch as bigger manufacturers start throwing high quality reasonably priced parts into the mix.

Whatever it is, make it available in a kit form under $300. Keep the loyal masses happy.
I dont like waiting a year for reasonably priced rollers or projects to come up so I dont have to try to sell and eventually stockpile sub-par Flysky Tx's.

Axial,
I buy stuff. Make stuff I want to buy. ;-)

We'll, wraith kit back in stock so I guess we are not getting an updated kit with nicer WANTED stuff:cry:

Hopefully they still pull something out of their hat and offer that IFS rock racer that everybody wants. Time will tell I guess.

the jeep thing if its true they should probably just change the company name, i mean its thought of as solid axle and that grill, they change that itll be a lump of crap like the new fj was, my buddy was all excited to get the fj then it sucked arse, and for axial, hopefully they woke up with vaterra trying and failing to steal there mojo, im a scx10 guy its a great platform to start off of but something along those lines would be freakin great, the wraith is cool but everyone of them looks the same, the scx10 is a great base to build off of what you want to be different, a basic ultra4 like that would be killer

where did the information of something "working on something fast" even come from?

so far all ive seen on this thread is a bunch of speculation and potential colour schemes. can someone put all the actual evidence into one post so we can maybe put a bit more speculation in? :flipoff:

Along with the 4 color schemes they said something like "we are working on something fast, which color scheme do you like best?" Or something like that :ror:

hmm i see. either i missed the FB comment, or it wasnt put up on the colour chart posted earlier??

is this all we have to go off? nothing since it was posted?

just went and found the image in the axial page, quite a few comments about it being an exo rehash.

id like to hope it will have solid rear axle, but i reckon since its a 1/8 buggy, making it into nitro seems the next logical step to maintain parts just a fuel tank, engine mounts, and throttle/brake servo mounts.

compared to what it might take to setup a different chassis setup, link mounts, links, its probably similar, so ultimately we are all guessing.

fingers crossed for a IFS exo with SA rear, or IFS Wrexo thing...

edit: forgot to add the link incase you hadnt actually seen the picture and the comments.

A fast color scheme is all that can be assumed at this point I guess.

I'm sure we'll know by Christmas.

Maybe everyone is interpreting the ".. working on something fast" too literally. Maybe Axial means that they have a project that is 'fast tracked', not a lot of time to get it together and out the door.

I like the fact that other people are starting to want some narrower width AR60 axles. I've been bitching about this for a while.
