New Axial "working on something fast"

Ok I hope so. I have owned three ifs rigs. Fun heck ya. But once you lock that front axle turning is about 75%of what it was.

Still with that said yeti is gonna be really fun to race around.

If the front diff is anything like the EXO (which I assume) you don't have to fully lock it. You can experiment with different weight fluids to get what you want

Yep silly puddy worked great once. Thank Harley

Been reading this thread all day, closing and opening so my boss wouldn't see ;). I was just thinking the other day how cool it would be to build an utra4 rig from scratch. That will be put on hold while we all await the full specs and videos of what this thing is really capable of.

This is almost more exciting than anticipating a new Apple product release. . .

Ok maybe more exciting :)

Maybe I missed it?? Are the front axles the same as the exo? I know those don't hold up to a locked front, BL power, sticky 2.2's and rock crawling.

That being said, I do get that its not designed as a hardcore crawler but many, like me will take it that direction.

I think only Badger has really seen one of these up close (except for those meddling Axial guys), so maybe he can answer if they are the same.

I think this truck will be more popular than the EXO, which will create more aftermarket interest.

I've never owned an exo but isn't there an MIP cvd mod for the front axles?

Agreed

There is. Check my build thread in my sig, its detailed there. Also Blue Monkey stepped up and made the required spool so anyone can do it with little fab work.

I am not worried if they are the same as the exo because I know how to address the issue. Just thinking about the masses..

I cannot find sensored or non sensored anywhere? Are these front ends gonna take exo parts? I would really like to bolt on a currie rock jock to the rear.. Ahh damn I just wanna order parts...

not sure if you have seen this, it was just put on my FB wall.

Is that a sway bar or limiting straps on the back?

Sway bar, it's already been pointed out several times. I just love how Axial announces what 90% of you have been asking for, and still people are always critics. As far as I know only one non Axial employee has driven it. Based on that persons integrity I believe him. "thumbsup"
