New Axial "working on something fast"

It comes locked in high gear. I ran a Twin Hammers for an entire U4RC series without ever shifting. For rock racing 2 speed is not needed.

a few things:

1: the stock exo knuckles would not clear 2.2/2.2 standard beadlocks correct? they had to be 2.2/3.0?(or maybe internal beadlocks would fit? ie larger inner diameter) if so that means this is not just the stock exo front right? at lease new knuckles? can any exo owners confirm this?

2: no spare tire? hopefully theres a mount at least

3: why is the front wheel nut blue?

IIRC Rocksters will fit, i think you need the wider hexes though.
I know renegades won't fit as a bolt on even with the wider hex, but they might if they were hubbed.

I'm hearing from other sources (VP Team Driver Michael Pham...) that the rtr will come "locked into second gear" and require added parts (servo, 3 ch tx, etc.) to use the 2 speed.
That would be tremendously lame.

Yeah, that will be bad. I guess that explains the low-ish price point...

Preodered my Yentl today. Hope I get it before Tisha B'Av. Hope all my NiMh from the 90's still work. THANKS FOR THE CHANCE!
PS: 2 overly upgraded Exo's for sale.:lmao: One's a "Fire Sale".

2.2 wheels fit on front but rubbed the rear a arms.

Devious PowerSports ,Tyler

Need a 360° view before I get all hot and bothered about it, jumped to be the first to get the new toy to many times. I'll wait and let someone else figure out the week spots and save my $$ for the rite upgrades later.

I already have an mmp and nib rock412 3100kv setup waiting for it though:flipoff:

I ran the stock Scorpion 2.2 beadlocks on my EXO, just needed wider hexes like was mentioned. The 2.2s shown on the Yeti have 2 different stock hexless hubs, the larger ones would probably fit right on an EXO without clearance issues.

It really is marketing genius I mean look how many posts there are from one picture. 50 pages deep from one picture. It's not really going to matter all that much what they release. They know you all are going to go out there buy them and modify them and make them yours.

I'm going to guess that it's really wide for the fact he can't see the wheel stud on the back but you can on the front. The two speed I'm sure it's going to be just like the Wraiths dig unit an optional part that you can put in later.

I'm just excited to see that there's a new platform out there!

I just noticed the shock that is in view, where would that attach to???

And is that a fire extinguisher on the passenger side??

The shock attaches right behind the drivers shoulder at the top, and in the trailing arm at the bottom.

If I remember right, I do think I saw an extinguisher.

It's Wraith width, due to the AR60 rear axle. And +1 on the excitement!

Is it the angle of the shot or do the front wheels have a different offset to the rear? They looks different to me  or is it just me?

Would it really have been that difficult to make a centered rear axle for the new rig? I'm glad to hear about a new brushless-proof 2 speed trans and some new wheels, these will always be parts that will be adaptable to custom builds. "thumbsup"

new housing and new axle shafts. probly the two most expensive parts of the axle. new upper link mount too.
im going to say the answer is yes. ill bet the numbers would be quite staggering.
