great news! i had heard nothing of this.
probly my favorite muscle car, 1970 Chevelle SS (LS6 if i could afford to own one of those rare beasts)

i cant say i love the concept, but i know its far from what the production vehicle would look like so ill keep my hopes up.
beats the hell out of the new Dart:mrgreen:

they need to squar it up a little, like the Mustang.

As is, the lines are to round for my taste.
The rear window looks like an Eclipse.

It looks smaller and rounder than the current body style camaro...back in the day the chevelle was bigger and stronger looking!

the appeal of that year era chevy's was the body style, dang at least make them look like what they were  ....or give me any 70 chevy with updated drive train and brakes "thumbsup" ........bob

....

its a feminized camaro...

has pontiac written all over it imo, and not in a good way. looks alot like a sunfire as somebody has mentioned.

Looks cool until the ass end. The killed it for me.

For me, the best looking retro/throwback car out there currently is the Challenger. I got drive a R/T for a few days and it was a blast but also a ticket waiting to happen. I'll stick with my rubi for now.

At first glance it reminded me of the John Fitch warmed over Corvair. Or a new Camaro mated with a Corvair.

The badging looks good 8)

The quarters look muscular, other than that, blah.

a couple of years ago a private designer came up with a design that I liked. Now to see if I can find it.

I'm a Chevy guy and all, but that thing should be one of those concepts that never goes anywhere... and the designer should go back to designing kitchen gadgets.
If you're going to call it a Chevelle, make it look like one... even vaguely.

I think the best done retro car is the Challenger... and I really don't like Dodge err Fiat.
