New Crawler Course / RC ORV Park forum? Any Interest?

What would you like to see in a comp & scale indoor/outdoor course forum?

As of today, this thread has had over 4000 views, 122 posts, & 67 votes on what users would like to see in a RC ORV Park forum.

It's also been pretty active since the initial post.

Can we have an ORV Park forum or not?

Just a yes or no from admin would be appreciated.

Thanks, Doug

X3... "you know you want it baby" ;) :lmao:

seriously though, like ive said before not only do we want it but it will help clean up the clutter of "my couse" posts in other sub forums and will expand the hobby and get others crawling more often.

wurd up on this thread!"thumbsup"

rcc could clean up the clutter from other sub forums
by having it.

just think of all the scale goodness it will hold..

"scale goodness"... I like that.

Here is some, working on a camping spot for my scale park. Here is what I have so far. plan to build a shelter too. I've been watching eBay for those little store display tents but they all seem to be GI Joe size. Anyway here's my table:

sweet!

look on ebay for "coleman display tents" ;-)

Yea, I found several. It's just that a lot of them scale to around 1:6 so I don't think they would look right. most are around 12" high which at 1:10, that's a 10' high tent.

ive seen them used in some drifting videos and they look about right..
maybe a tad tall, but it aint like im getn in it.

I think I may be highjacking my own thread here but.... seeing that I still don't have a forum... I'll try submitting a scale cat & see if that gains more traction.

Next, a pond, scale float plane & 12" great white sharks.

I've found that cats do give great traction, and if it weren't for them I wouldn't know how great of a punter I actually am.

been toying around looking for appropriate size dollhouse log cabins for my course. i didnt find anything that wouldnt make my truck look like a monster truck parked out front of it. i might have to make my own but i dont know how large a log cabin would be 1.1 to scale it down approprately to 1/8 or 1/10. should i just get measurements from my 1.1 house and go from there?

with "logs" of 1" diameter, I think you could build it as big or small as you want. height wise though, it'd be fine to base it off a house. our cabin could easily look like a house if covered with siding.

well its obviously not exactly, but for non detail work like the logs which will vary in size anyway I'd just use one inch is one foot. Then again, killer scale builds have killer detail...lol
