New Events @ HobbyTown Virginia Beach

Rudee Inlet

Took mine down there yesterday, but someone had booked a birthday party on the "slot track" so they wouldnt let me me screw around back there. Im sure Ill have to head back at some point.

So who's gonna do some maintenance on the crawling course? They are looking kind of ragged.

I'm taking donations. Unfortunately, the course was original setup by a few of the local guys out of our own pockets. We need the following, 5-10 gallons of 'glass resin plus hardener or cash ($$) donations.

Sorry about that, the birthday party took over the whole rear area. We don't have anything planned for the next few Saturdays.

Hey, I'm new here...just bought an axial to build but I probably won't get it up and running until early March. I'm not far from the Hobbytown, in fact I've been there several times in the past. Do you have any type of events planned for the month of March? And are Saturdays the current nights to come free crawl? Is it 6-8pm still? Thanks in advance.

Cool, thanks for the info! I'll be there come mid March...after spring break.

Randy finally got my rig back together. I need to make a few adjustments and get the dig to work. Hopefully I got something for that pesky Berg of yours.:flipoff: Might try to get out there on Saturday."thumbsup"

Did you ever think of making it indoor with real rocks?

haven't really talked to the owner about bring in real rocks but we have brought some real rocks in to enhance the man made terrain. the idea, since the back area is used for other events, the course needs to be easily moveable.
