Yup you can't just bring back old rock and make it work. A successful band would change as needed to continue...or maybe not take 10 years off and release this trash.

I didn't like the vocals however I did kinda like the guitar sound it had though!

I didn't like the new Metallica when it came out be after hearing it umpteen-thousand times on the local rock station it's grown on me.

Nah, Pro Tools fixed Axle's voice! The real proof is always in the live show, and last time I saw them perform, his throat was gone.
I'm not really diggin' that track and you can tell that other than the intro, he's not touching the range that he used to hit. I admire that he's trying, but the old grey mare...

He is the biggest cry baby in rock and roll. For a band that had it all, kicked ass, and went to crap because of him. I tried to stay a fan for years hoping that he would make good on coming back......never happened. Then he did a show in Texas years back and charged $500 a ticket!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What an ass....

I had the pleasure of going to Metallica/GnR tour in 1992. Metallica opened, and they kicked major ass, the stadium was electric during their set. When Metallica’s set was over, I’d say 5-10% of the crowd left, not caring that GnR was even there. Typical for GnR, their set started an hour late…

This was the tour where James was burned by a pyrotechnic, and Metallica’s set was cut short. Axle, the dipshit he is, refused to play. He had the chance to be the hero of the day, but no, idiot to the bone. If I remember correctly, the crowd rioted and Fuk’d up the area around the stadium.

I haven't heard the new AC/DC yet, so I'll hold off judgement 'till I do.
As far as the new Metallica goes, I guess it just grows on you.... Still prefer the "old" stuff from them, though:lol:

Heard it yesterday and about threw my radio out the window!!! Sucks major ASS!!! Chinese Democracy has been a joke since its inception. Axl is a moron who thinks he has a legit standing in today's contemporary bands. G&R kicked ass in the 80's/90's. That is one thing I will admit. What is sad is that all of these bands that have survived over the years are known for their sounds back then. They can't keep up with todays audience. When we hear the new stuff they pump out we get pissed cause it sucks. Well, it does suck. I have lost all interet in Metallica especially after the new album. AC/DC, hmmm, we shall see. G&R, I hope to all things that are good it flops and we never hear from Axl ever again. He needs to retire in that "Paradise City" he found many years ago.

i actually like the few songs released on the radio so far, Axles voice sounds about 4 packs a day less and the guitar stuff reminds me of the original stuff.
voicing on the Metallica, its growing on me. some just have to let go of the old stuff and realize they changed.
