New lights, but no tx/rx

Just got a set of Mytrickrc DG-1 Attack Bronco lights. Tested them out before installing and they worked fine. Now that I have them installed, nothing else on my TRX Bronco works apart from the lights. When I connect the lights to the balance port of the battery, they come on, but once I turn on the HW1080 ESC, it just flashes a red light as does the receiver. As soon as I disconnect the lights from the balance port, the ESC kicks back in, as well as the receiver. However, then I don't have any lights. I would appreciate some suggestions of what could be wrong. Thanks.

I love MyTrickRC lights but I now use their UF-7 controller exclusively because the DG-1 controller fried one of my RXs a couple of years back. Sounds to me like you need to contact MyTrickRC directly.
