Hey guys, just want to say this site is great. Tons of traffic and knowledge here. I got a lot of info on what to upgrade, just want to check if you think I'm missing anything that I should have. I'll be doing "light" bashing and some crawling.

I'll be buying the kit. Here's a list of what I plan to purchase:

Tekin Pro 4 3300
MMP
Castle 10a bec
Hitec 7954 or should I get the 7950?
VP Stage 1 Kit (knuckles, hubs, lockout)
VP complete titanium link kit (10 pc)
Robinson one piece bottom diff gear
Robinson Idler
Robinson Gen3 56t slipper (w/traxxas slipper rebuild kit - TRA5552x)
Super Shafty beefy top shaft (when they get more stock, hopefully soon)
MIP Spline Center CVD (w/traxxas Revo screw pin - TRA5145)
Axial HD bevel gear 38T/13T
CKRC battery forward plate
CKRC suspension lowering kit

And I was wondering about the Axial Sway Bar set and also CKRC suicide switch steering?? What's your thoughts on those?

Anything else I'm missing?

Hey Alex, Lots of people here with a lot of knowledge(not that I'm one, lol). Your list looks good for "light bashing" and crawling. As far as the servo goes, I like and use the Hitec 7950th and you can never ever go wrong with the MIPs. The sway bars can wait for now. The good thing about the kit is that you get the R35(soft compound) Ripsaw tires and get hardened steel CVDs which gives you like 10% more throw and no binding at full throw as opposed to the RTRs harder tire and dogbones. As you drive it more and more you'll see what else you need to buy. Maybe next you could buy some beadlock wheels. I run the Vanquish SLW 1" series with great success, check them out, there are lots of 2.2 beadlock wheels out now, just make sure you get true beadlocks.

Maybe the titanium links which you can pick up later, but get the steering links for sure. Can wait on the Supershafty beefy top shaft and the Axial spiral cut beveled gears. Get that stuff after while. For sure get the BEC in that it's kind of insurance for the high $ servo. With the money you save on not getting this stuff maybe buy some beadlock wheels as you'll throw tires if bashing hard and that's a pain. Hope this helps.

I got the kit and trying to get it ready for a G6 event next month. the kit comes with alum lower links and I just bought the alum uppers to go along with the. figured they would be much better than the plastic stock links and I can wait a while on the titanium ones for now. I did however buy the titanium steering links the stock links at flimsy.
also make sure you get a good servo horn, no use having good steering links and set o if the horn is junk ya know

so to hijack your thread but I keep reading **** battery kit, ****ect and I am guessing you mean ebay? its strange cause I cant find a batt forward kit on ebay? or a servo winch tray either. please help

The **** from my op is not ebay. It's a website/parts supplier that I obviously wasn't supposed to mention here. Maybe if a mod see's this they will explain.

thanks guys, I figured out who it was see k are see haha after reading more about the chassis mounted servo I think ill keep it on the axle. keeps the weight of the 7980 down low and wont loose power threw shocks or chassis. the winch will be fine mounted up in the chassis tho.

I'd highly recommend the dink s mount.

I built this mount .

I've messed around valor with difrent axle mounted steering set ups and I by far like this best.

I'd get the two price bottom gear so you can do a dig or crawler innovations outputs
